January 30 轉貼: ICE (In Case of Emergency)We all carry our mobile phones with names & numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family or friends. If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn't know who to call. Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence this ' ICE' (In Case of Emergency) Campaign The concept of 'ICE' is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name 'ICE' ( In Case Of Emergency). The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which number to call. He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the Number you have stored as 'ICE'. Please forward this. It won't take too many 'forwards' before everybody will know about this. It really could save your life, or put a loved one's mind at rest. For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc. Be sure it's in your kid's cell phones also..... A great idea that will make a difference! Let's spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our Mobile phones today! Be Safe! 落堂後又話小B而家比起第一堂嗰時反應好好...佢好鐘意呢堂, 話我應該繼續上, blah blah blah... 不過我話我報咗第二啲班. 或者等下一個課程先再上啦. (其實Kidermusik 啲音樂係幾好. 如果係第二個人教, 或者我會繼續上. 因為我覺得呢個負責人無乜心機.)

My Organic Baby cereal recalledThe Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and My Organic Baby Inc. are warning the public not to consume My Organic Baby brand cereal described below because these products may be rancid. All lot codes of the following My Organic Baby brand cereal with Best By dates of April 2008 (04-2008) and June 2008 (06-2008) are affected by this alert: The affected products were manufactured in the USA and have been distributed nationally in Canada. There has been one reaction associated with the consumption of these products. If the cereal has an unusual odour or smells 'off', it should not be consumed. If an infant has been fed any of the products described above, discontinue feeding this cereal and monitor for symptoms. Consumption of rancid food may cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. If you have any concerns please seek medical attention. My Organic Baby Inc, Vaughan, ON, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall. Firm waited to recall rancid baby foodFrom January 29, 2008 Globe and Mail The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and My Organic Baby Inc. waited a week before telling the public that four of its products may be rancid, and only disclosed the fact after receiving a report that a baby had become ill after eating the food. My Organic Baby Inc., based in Vaughan, Ont., issued a national recall this past Friday of four varieties of baby cereal because of fears the products could pose a health threat. Since then, the company and the food agency have received several calls from parents who said their babies had become sick after eating the food. But on Jan. 16, more than a week before the recall was issued, the company received test results confirming the products were rancid, and asked stores to take the products off their shelves, according to company spokeswoman Diana Robinson. The company disclosed the problem to the CFIA on Jan. 18 and the agency started an investigation to determine the scope of the problem and whether there were safety concerns that would warrant a product recall, she said. In Canada, food recalls are voluntary and conducted by the company selling the affected product. At the time, My Organic Baby decided not to issue a national recall because testers at the University of Guelph said there were no health concerns associated with the products, Ms. Robinson said. "It did not look like there was a wide-reaching and widespread issue," Ms. Robinson said yesterday. But My Organic Baby later received a call from a mother who said her baby became sick after eating the food, which prompted the company to issue a national recall. Over the weekend, the company has received about five other calls from parents who were concerned their babies became sick as a result of eating rancid baby food. The CFIA has also received some reports of babies who became sick after eating the baby food. The agency is working to determine whether the illnesses are associated with the My Organic Baby food. The company said it sent samples of the baby food to an independent lab at the University of Guelph after receiving calls from retail stores about a smell coming from their products. Tests showed the taste and smell of the baby food had changed, but not its molecular composition, Ms. Robinson said. Although they received several reports of illnesses, the company said it's uncertain whether anyone became sick as a result of its products. "Babies spit up. Babies get sick. It's very difficult in a way to isolate it back to this. We are erring on the side of caution though," Ms. Robinson said. The baby food apparently went rancid because of problems with a new plastic liner being used in the products. Instead of lengthening the food's shelf life, as the company had hoped, the liner caused the product to lose freshness at a quicker rate. The rancid food may have a foul odour and could cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea if it's consumed, according to the CFIA. A recall specialist with the food agency said it's not uncommon for companies to ask stores to stop selling products before issuing a public recall, because it can take time to determine the scope of the problem and gather the most accurate data to pass on to consumers. "Sometimes you may not have all the information necessary to give the consumer the adequate information," Garfield Balsom said. But he added that the recall of rancid baby food presents a challenge because while most adults eating the food would immediately recognize a problem, babies may not. "They don't have the ability to tell you something is wrong with the product," Mr. Balsom said. The recalled products are Step A Organic Barley Baby Cereal, Step A Organic Brown Rice Baby Cereal, Step A Organic Oatmeal Baby Cereal and Step B Multigrain Baby Cereal and have "best by" dates of April or June, 2008. 記得我帶小B上第一堂嗰日, 都有個唔知婆婆定嫲嫲帶個孫女. 話有人打電話叫佢嗰個時間上堂. 不過負責人話嗰日無堂, 叫佢第二日再去. 個阿婆好肯定話對方(負責人嘅老公)係咁講呀, 又抄低咗呀... 爭辯一輪. 搞到好唔高興.
好彩佢比我補返兩堂. 唔係真係蝕晒水!
夜晚小B自己係度un下un下(半蹲狀又企起身). 好似想跳起身定係跳舞?! 總之就非常興奮. un un下嘻嘻哈哈狂笑咗十幾分鐘! January 23 食泥呀~~~~~~~~~~~今晚整緊小B 啲嘢食. 見佢靜雞雞合埋個嘴... 心諗死啦, 又唔知食左咩... 走埋去硬liu開佢個咀. liu 到少少黑色嘢... 硬硬地... January 21 小B 與 屋仔小B好似特別鐘意呢間屋仔, 又拍檯, 又不停揮手, 又出又入. 塗顏色果時旁邊坐左個小朋友. (由賓賓帶)不過個小朋友木口木面. 全程gi都唔笑. 小B就自得其樂, 玩得好開心!
January 20 新鞋今日超大風. 有成50km/h!! 買咗對新鞋比小B星期一上堂用. 著住對新鞋去睇電玩. 尋日同小B剪頭髮. 新髮型都ok啩.
家務-ing 小B January 18 裝裝下今日帶小B行mall. 佢係間襪鋪出面裝裝下. 好搞笑! 唔知有咩咁吸引?
自從豉油行之後, 呢兩個禮拜硬係鐘意行(sip)去D窿窿la la既位. 間屋的每個角落都比小B抹得乾乾淨淨. (可能佢又成日見阿媽抹地. 於是有時比佢攞到自己條抹嘴/抹手巾,佢就係地下抹呀抹...抹呀抹... January 17 san yat fi lok!jok fui ma san yat fi lok!!!! sun tight kin hong!!! ^^ ching chun sheung ju!

係 playgroup 見返上季一個嫲嫲同佢個孫仔. 佢問我係咪就快返工. 我話辭咗職lu. 佢即刻好大聲話:"Good Girl!" 話第時大把時間做野... blah! blah! blah! 嘩! 唔返工都比人讚. 呵呵呵~ January 14 新工朝早帶小B睇醫生. 燒退左. 不過間中有幾聲咳. (好多啖嗰隻.) 都係睇下穩陣. 醫生開左抗生素. 返到屋企打電話同老細辭職. 收左線, 有啲興奮. 以後唔洗趕住四點半走人跟住塞個半鐘頭車返屋企, 唔洗日日抬住兩枝1.5L水返工, 唔洗忙住週末煮好小B一個禮拜野食... 又可以好似以前帶小B去上堂, 去街街!
以後老公就比心機搵錢, 我同小B就比心機洗錢.
晚上收到李瀾夫婦神祕郵包一個. January 11 請假請假再請假星期三
請左兩日假. 八點返到公司. 黑麻麻, 未有人. 我又唔記得自己個alarm code. 唯有係門口等. 好彩等十幾分鐘就見同事A返. 早上襯前阿頭未返搞掂佢叫我做既野. 不過佢話佢自己巳經做左. 四點半又走得. 交通出奇地暢須. 五點多D返到屋企仲可以餵小B!
晚上發覺小B熱熱地. 102.6F! 食退燒藥. 打去Telehealth (一個全天候免費醫療電話服務. 由註冊護士提供醫療意見). 第一次打, 幾好喎! 不過最好唔駛用啦. 聽日又要請假!

早上帶小B去睇醫生. 103F! 醫生話佢個樣仲好精神. 係細鑊. 不過都係鑊. 食退燒藥. 聽日繼續請假...
星期五 小B好似無セ野. 下晏醫生打黎話無事. ^o^
總共返左1日工!!!!! January 08 適應中返咗三日工就請兩日假. 博炒.

第一日,交通非常暢須, 八點多D就到公司. 張access card仲開到門. 公司正裝修中. (係改細左. 個會議室比左隔離間公司. 所以就係剩餘嘅地方間出一個會議室) 晨早只得兩個裝修工人. 好彩個香港同事A巳經返左. 先唔會咁悶. 坐返原位. 之前代我嗰個11月辭職轉工. 九點後先見老細返. 歡迎下. 就傾我要做d乜. 今日全日就重裝部腦同係眼瞓+肚餓中渡過. 準時四點半走.
小B日頭食得差, 下午唔肯瞓...指住餵奶枕頭嗚泣. 好可燐~ 晚上醒好多次. T_T
星期四 八點半前返到公司. 買左豬柳蛋. 繼續裝部腦. 中午前我前阿頭同我講今個月有三個死線.第一個係十四號! 吓? 又係嗰種臨尾先加班? 心諗:「我唔得呀. 我最多等小B瞓左我係屋企做, 一係你炒我吧啦!」佢叫我幫佢測試. 今日又四點半走.
我返到屋企小B瞓緊. 日頭指住我張結婚相話:mom mom (mum mum?)...
星期五 未夠八點就返到公司. 買左熱香餅. 因為灰媽要去睇醫生. 準時四點就走.
返到屋企小B沖完涼飲緊奶. 我餵小B瞓. 媽去睇醫生.

今日見小B好耐冇街街. 帶左佢去T&T.
